The focus of this meeting is the TBA820M amplifier IC. This very low cost device makes an excellent and efficient MP3 amplifier. It compliments the AM radio made at the last teachers meeting and can also be used to add a speaker to MP3 players such as the iPod. It makes a very popular and cost effective classroom project.
