AM Radio

The focus of this meeting is the AM radio based on the MK484 IC. It makes an excellent low cost ks3 project, is straight forward to make and gives surprisingly good results. It drives low cost head sets of the type used with ipods and MP3 players. A complementary project, the MP3 amplifier which converts the earpiece output to speaker output will be the subject of a future meeting.
Am radio complete with ferrite rod aerial.
