Technology projects can be brought alive by incorporating movement using motors. The aim of this course is to explore ways of using and controlling motors. The following will be covered:
| ¡ | How motors work, (demonstrated by a very simple and easy to construct electric motor) |
| ¡ | How to control rotation direction using a change over switch. |
| ¡ | Typical motor drivers for on/off and direction control. |
| ¡ | Speed control using software and hardware. |
This is a practical, hands-on course. Teachers will be able to keep the motors/kits used on the course.
